First one is Their Song by Blackbird Designs. Monica did such a great job framing and helping me with the moulding choice.
I also picked up Roses in July. My friend Karin stitched and framed this back in May and I loved the frame she chose so of course I had to try and duplicate it:)) It's a very small piece (less than 4" square) so I plan on displaying it on an easel.

It's been another warm weekend in Chicago so it's been perfect to spend time in my stitching nest. I've spent a lot of time working on Christmas Garden. I'm about 1/3 finished and this is where I stand. Sorry for the crappy photo because this piece is so lovely in person.

With the Olympics starting on Friday my stitching group and I are all starting new projects during the Opening Ceremonies with HOPES of finishing them before the closing Ceremonies. I finally got all the NPI's I was waiting for and now just have to cut the fabric. I chose Jane Osborn by Priscilla's Pocket. If you click here you can see what the rest of the group chose. Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me today. I always enjoy hearing from you!
Have a great week.
