Framing and an Exchange

It's been a busy couple of weeks but not a whole lot of stitching going on.  I did pick up Quaker Garden from Welcome Stitchery last week and I'm very pleased with how it came out.

I really like the layered and weathered look of this frame.
I have been participating in an exchange and I received my stitching gift on Saturday.  I just love this little pinkeep.  It's a Little House Design and just so "me".  Thank you LisaV!

Well I'm off to work.  Hopefully next week I will have some stitching to show you.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment.  I truly appreciate them.

Beautiful Sunday

We are enjoying a beautiful day in Chicagoland.  The temperature is in the low 60's and the sun is out:)  I have some windows open to let the wonderful fresh air in!

This past week I finished the April Cottage from CCN and today I went to Joanne's to get purple rick-rack to finish it off.

And here they are in my bowl:
I am continuing to work on Elizabeth Hancock, although progress has been slow, I'm still loving it.  The silks are heaven to work with.

I also have a new start -- Mary Roe by The Scarlett House. Look at these luscious colors:

The Nashville market has come and gone for another year.  What captured your attention?  At first I didn't see a lot of "must have's" but I ended up with quite a bit of new stash (LOL).  I loved Mary Roe and I also got the linen and wools for Jane Pattison by Shakespeare's Peddler.  A couple of others items that made it home with me was the LHN Nashville exclusive with Shakespeare's Peddler and Wild Garden by BBD.  Now just to find time to stitch, stitch stitch!!!!

Have a wonderful week and enjoy this Spring time weather!  Thanks for visiting with me today.

Until next time.....
